Both sit at 9.6, but the Four Seasons Sultanahmet costs nearly three times as much as the Conrad, and the Conrad has a pool the Four Seasons doesn't list. Book the Four Seasons if you want to be inside the old city, walking distance from Hagia Sophia and Topkapı, in a building with real history. Book the Conrad if you want Bosphorus views, a rooftop bar, a pool, and to keep $500 a night in your pocket. The 5.1km between them means genuinely different holidays: one is a museum-district hotel, the other a business-and-views hotel on the water.

We booked two rooms for our family of four. As Diamond members, our rooms were upgraded - one to a suite and one to a sliver Boshporus view. Both were very much appreciated.
We did have to request our keys be granted access to the Executive Lounge (that's not automatic). The lounge was excellent. Breakfast was good, but the view is phenomenal. Just be careful sitting out
